Top Tips for your visit

Footwear
Wear sensible footwear – the Great Ryedale Maze is an outdoor event on fine sandy soil, so it might well be dusty and dirty, and if it has rained it could be muddy!

Clothing
Bring layers of clothing with you to keep you warm/cool/dry/wind-protected and generally comfortable in all conditions – the weather can change very quickly.

Slip, Slop, Slap, Slide when it’s hot:
Slip on light clothing to keep you covered
Slop on the sunblock – even if it’s cloudy the sun can burn.
Slap on a hat or cap
Slide on the shades!

We think you will need between 2 to 4 hours if you walk through both mazes, play on the vintage funfair rides and stalls, and enjoy the café and Big Top entertainment.

The walk through the Giant Maze takes approximately 60 minutes.
We will provide you with a map of the Giant Maze so you can find your way out! There are also clue boards in the maze and marked on the map which will help you navigate. You can always ring our mobile number if you get totally lost - 07985 331802!
There is a large free grass/stubble car park right beside the Maze. The car park and access is not suitable for coaches or buses. Disabled parking spaces are situated immedialy beside the entrance.
We offer something for all appetites, as well as vegan and gluten-free options. Paninis, wraps, barbecued burgers and sausages, vegan burgers, chips, cakes and sweet treats, tea, coffee and soft drinks can all be purchased from our cafe. We have a kids menu and also serve ice creams, milkshakes and slushies.
